"Hiltrud Maria Webber, affectionately known as "Sam", born July 9, 1938, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother passed peacefully on August 16, 2011 surrounded by her family and friends.
Hiltrud is survived by her husband, James Dale Webber of 38 years and children Mark, Tim and Tammy; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A Memorial service to be held Friday August 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of the Garden 2400 s. Scenic Springfield, MO. 656807 Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Parks in Springfield, MO.
Hiltrud touched many lives in both her passion for plants and flowers and through the words in her book.
"I am honoured to have been able to meet Hiltrud Webber, allbeit electronically. I am humbled to have been able to read and review her book and it has been a privilige to be able to see into the life of a woman who touched so many yet asked forso little. May she Rest in Peace"
